The Fabric Shop was established at its current location in 2001. It boasts an extensive range of fashion, after five, patchwork and basic fabric ranges, as well as all better known paper patterns and a great range of haberdashery, including exciting trims and a comprehensive button range.
In order to be individual and keep in line with European fashion, we are also now importing a considerable part of our fashion fabrics. In this way, our customers will have access to current quality European fashion fabrics, at reasonable prices.
As from August 2013, it is also the exclusive stockist of the Maelena Collection, Real Clothes for Real People range. This sized 12-20 range has been designed with the mature woman in mind. Women, who want to look smart and stylish in quality designs and fabrics at affordable prices.
The fabric used in some of the Maelena Collection garments is also available to purchase by the metre, for those who prefer to make their own.
To complement our beautiful fabrics and garments, we also stock quality accessories and hats, as well as some "ready-made" European garments.
The premises we operate from are bright, light and airy and we take pride in our presentation and attention to detail.
We offer professional, knowledgeable, friendly service, evidenced by the level of "word of mouth" referral we generate.
A VIP Loyalty Customer system is in place, whereby our customers earn points on their full priced fabric and/or haberdashery purchases. These points may be redeemed at a later date to purchase similar items.
A regular monthly email newsletter is forwarded to VIP customers, whereby we impart news, special offers and ideas.
